Apparently this depends on who caught the EmojiGolem when. The one who did this before the update has this bro-mon with the Epic level, and the one after the update has the Legendary level.

I disagree. And by the way, they already upgraded it to legendary.
We have already taken this point into account, with the new update the Crush level of EmojiGolem will automatically upgrade to Legendary for everyone.
The update should happen soon, just give it a couple of days.
My emoji golem is still epic
