What matters more to me is that the message is clear and everyone understands what changed in v3.0.0.

Yeah, that’s normal now.
Since 3.0.0 the game connects to our server, so if it doesn’t load instantly you’ll see the Connecting to Bro-Server loader for a moment.
Just wondering though - does it stay there for long for you, or does it flash quickly and then everything loads fine?
Yeah, unfortunately when we moved the game to the server, old win/loss data didn’t carry over.
I can’t play bromon even though I only have like 5 left cos I not on computer I on iPad safari

Yeah! Now that Bro-Mon runs on a server, things like that are possible. It opens the door for battles between players and other server-based stuff.
That said, it’s still a lot of work ahead. Like… really a lot 
So nothing to promise yet, but the server is the first big step in that direction.
