The Ancient Library of Vel’Taraan is a massive, towering structure hidden deep within a lost underground city. Known only in legend, this library is said to hold the knowledge of the world’s forgotten ages—scrolls, tomes, and artifacts of immense power. Scholars once flocked here, but it has been abandoned for centuries after a great disaster. Those brave enough to enter now speak of strange magic still at work, guarding its secrets with lethal traps and puzzles. No one who has entered in the last 500 years has returned.

The library itself is a monolithic building, its walls lined with towering bookshelves, some reaching as high as 100 feet. Giant stone statues of robed figures, with empty, hollow eyes, watch silently from every corner. Intricate tapestries and faded murals cover the walls, depicting scenes of celestial beings, strange rituals, and long-lost civilizations. The smell of old parchment and dust fills the air, but beneath it all lingers a sense of something darker… something waiting.
