EvoWars. io is probably one of the less known io games but it’s actually quite good. In this game, soon to be released as a (pay to win $5) game on Steam, you start as a tiny caveman with a club. You can only melee attack in this top down evolving game, and all attacks one-hit everything (except for the guardian, ill explain later) you basically walk around the arena collecting orbs (you can hold right click to dash, which uses up evo points), which fuels a red sword meter at the bottom of your screen. Once it gets to full, you evolve! You may look different and your weapon also may look different, and you have larger range, a larger hitbox but also you’re slower and you have slower reload speed too. There are 36 evolutions in the game, which start looking cooler and more hi-tech, but there’s also 4 secret evolutions known as megavolutions, where you are immense and you have op dual wield wing thingies. Each evolution is harder and requires more XP, though. And beware of tiny pros chasing you! In the arenas theres also usually gold and shards (purple gems) that allow you to buy cosmetics and weapon skins that, apart from looking epic, also boost your gameplay and give you advantages. The gamemodes include Deathmatch, where you fight everyone, Teams, where you fight to destroy the enemy base (guardian) and theres golems where you hit them to turn them into your team color and they have a special attack. There is also classic mode, a weird version with bots only and also no reload for nostalgic old players (the old one is honestly not very good) , Duels where you 1v1 at the same evolution and Monster Hunt where you co-op to fight halloween-themed dudes in a roguelike game type of battle. There are also Christmas and Halloween events too! Theres also a cool rank system for long-term grinder players! Personally i’m very good at the game, better than many youtubers for the game and you try to beat me! lol! Also, my name is “DD_199” with a cool font and lots of deco.
