Despite skepticism, she gains support from her partner Vaggie, powerful Radio Demon Alastor, and a few misfit residents including Angel Dust and Sir Pentious. As Charlie seeks help from her father, Lucifer, to gain recognition from Heaven, the angels threaten to destroy the hotel and increase the brutality of their attacks. Vaggie’s past as a fallen exorcist angel is revealed, strengthening her commitment to protecting Charlie and the hotel residents from Adam and his forces. During the final battle of the first season, the hotel residents fight back, resulting in Sir Pentious sacrificing himself, Niffty killing Adam, and Lucifer stepping in to stop the slaughter. Ultimately, Sir Pentious is redeemed and arrives in Heaven, proving to Charlie and the Angels that redemption is possible.
