Changing in chrome

So idk if this is the right category. I applied a cursor recently but I noticed that whenever I go to certain websites in chrome, the cursor changes to its default shape and its color becomes inverted or reddish orange. Any tips on how I can fix that? ty

maybe try changing the cursor in your settings because I’m pretty sure you can download the cursor you’re using from the extension and change it to that in your devices settings and that should fix the problem I think then again I use the default cursor so I have no idea

Hey! This usually happens for a few reasons:

  1. Old tabs
    If you changed your cursor while some tabs were already open, those pages might still use the old/default cursor. Just refresh the pages where it happens — that usually fixes it.

  2. Chrome blocks custom cursors on some pages
    There are certain places where extensions aren’t allowed to change anything, like:
    • the Chrome Web Store
    • chrome:// pages
    • the New Tab page
    • some internal browser pages
    So Chrome will always force the default cursor there

  3. Other cursor apps
    If you have any other cursor-changing apps or extensions installed, they can conflict with ours. Best to turn them off and keep only one active.

If it still happens on normal websites, tell me which ones — I can check what’s going on there.

oh, so THATS why my custom cursor never worked. :/

I used to have the cursor extension but I removed it because it was causing problems
