I had like 5000 to vote on other topics before this website was updated
I can’t hand extra votes to one person, that wouldn’t be fair to everyone else
But I did just raise the limits for everybody, so you’ve got more room now
Why votes are limited and not unlimited: if everyone had endless votes, a vote would basically just be a like — you’d vote on everything and we couldn’t tell which ideas the community actually wants most. The cap makes you pick what matters, so the best ideas rise to the top (and it stops brandnew accounts from just voting on everything at once).
And don’t worry — when we finish an idea and close its topic, your vote comes back to you for something new
