Maybe add a whole new section to Sweezy Cursors for cursor trails! And add a section to customise how the trailing particles fall/float and disable/enabling cursor trails! Also, we could have some cursors that come with their own trails! For example, a cursor made of flowers that trail multicoloured pastel cursors, a orange cursor that trails orange slices, a watering basket cursor that trails water droplets, a pickaxe cursor that trails diamonds and a Sly from Hollow Knight cursor that trails Geo! Just an idea!

To be honest, I already worked on the idea of cursor trails a while ago. We have some cool styles and a few extra features planned, but I still need to get back to it and bring it to the final version.
It’s definitely on our roadmap
I also really like the idea of cursors having their own matching trails. That part is a bit more complicated, because we need to make the logic simple and clear for users. But once we have some basic trails, people will be able to combine them with different cursors and create their own cool setups. I’m sure users will make some really fun combinations.
So yes, we’re working in this direction. I can’t promise it will be released very soon, but I hope we can maybe bring it to life around autumn-winter.
