Badges are our way of giving you a virtual pat on the back, from celebrating your first steps to spotlighting your major wins.

You can go to :star2: Badges page to view a list of all the avalaible badges, organized by group. Each badge has a :white_check_mark: at the top left corner to indicate you’ve been granted the badge.

Plus, as you grow with us, you hit different Trust Levels—starting from Basic, where you get all you need to participate, up to Leader, where you can do cool stuff like editing globally and organizing posts.

Got a badge idea or a question about Trust Levels? I’m all ears!

Ok, to start the advanced tutorial with Discobot on a forum, follow these steps:

  1. Open your messages. look in the sidebar menu on the left, Messages → Inbox.
    Or done by clicking on your profile picture at the top right corner of the forum, then selecting the envelope icon to go to your messages.
  2. Start a new message. There should be a button or link to create a new message. Click it.
  3. Address the message to @discobot. In the “Add a user” or “Recipient” field, type @discobot, which is the username of the Discourse tutorial bot.
  4. Set the subject of your message. You can name it anything you’d like, such as “Advanced Tutorial.”
  5. Compose your message. In the body of the message, type the command to start the advanced tutorial: @discobot start advanced tutorial.
  6. Send the message. Once you’ve composed your message with the correct command, send it.

After which the Discobot will connect and give you instructions on what you need to do to explore the advanced capabilities.
