here is how you start one
Head over to www.discourse.org
then press this
it doesnt require a credit card to start.
Then choose your forum type

after you sekect your forum fill out the information you need it asks for things like email password username forum information
This is a 14 day free trial no credit card required
youll see this once you click the link in the email they send you and that is how you know your being built
then once its built head over to
admin --> dashboard[1] from there you can start your community
from there you will see a page that looks like this
from there you can purchase your community.
Its a one time purchase that lasts forever
the price will vary depending on of forum you have
This is the eaisest way to start a forum then post it here and gain members
